From the atmosphere within the community, I sense a hint of eerie sentiment. People perceive the relayer as an adversary, when in reality, it plays an extremely crucial role within the Tornado ecosystem and bears significant risks. I suggest the community engage in meaningful efforts to enhance Tornado’s decentralization. My initial recommendation is to further decentralize the relayer. Avoid using HTTPS and domain names to access it; instead, utilize IP addresses or decentralized naming gateways. Forego SSL certificates and opt for end-to-end encryption. It might even be feasible for the relayer to operate without accessing intricate details, as long as the contracts can be interpreted. However, there’s a possibility that the contracts might not be upgradable to this extent.
